Resolution to Develop Community Standards for Faculty

Function: The Task Force will develop aspirational guidelines for community standards for faculty.

Composition: The composition of this task force is left up to the Faculty Council Chair. The Faculty Council Chair will invite representation from Student Government, Graduate Student Assembly, Staff Council, Council for Racial and Ethnic Equity and Diversity (CREED), University Faculty Gender Equity Council, and Council for LGBTQ+ Access, Equity and Inclusion, and Graduate Assembly. The Faculty Council invites the Graduate Assembly to jointly sponsor this task force.

Organization:

Diversity, equity and inclusion are core to all community standards for faculty.  Anthony Brown, Shardha Jogee and Domino Perez provide additional input on diversity, equity, and inclusion to each subcommittee and the task force at large.

Messaging and communication strategies are coordinated by Victoria DeFrancesco Soto, Alan Friedman and Debbie Roberts.

The Task Force is currently organized into the following subcommittees, which overlap in scope and collaborate with each other:
